Garland Mountain proudly introduces our new chef, Michael Hardman!

Chef Michael will begin with GM Wednesday, April 12th. Our restaurant opening date will be announced soon.


Growing up in south Florida, Michael was exposed to a variety of amazing local Cuisines. At the age of 19, he moved to Georgia and his culinary career began. His passion was realized at the age of 19, starting in the restaurant business.

Before long, the lure of the prestigious Country Club life was calling.

Country Club of the South was the perfect place for him to realize that the high end ambiance and personal relationships were for him. As an apprentice chef, participation in Senior PGA championship and countless beautiful weddings were an integral part of his training.

In 2004, he made the move to Atlanta Athletic Club. Hosting enormous events, such as the 2011 PGA championship, 2013 Amateur PGA championship, as well as catering to the members of the club.

In 2015 Michael was named Executive chef of Brookstone Golf and Country Club. He enjoyed creating a scratch kitchen experience for the members for the two years that followed.

Michael lives in Dallas, with his wife, And their 4 children.

When cooking at home, he enjoys preparing favorites such as seafood, braised meats, and Spanish food.

When he is not in the kitchen, Michael enjoys spending time with his family, although he admits many of those occasions still include cooking, and enjoying food with company.
