If you like sporting clays and beautiful scenery then this is the place to get both. The course is modern with its key card access at each of the shooting stations. There are stunning mountain vistas at each stand. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The clubhouse is gorgeous and feels like a grand log home waiting for you to relax in. The food at the grill is expertly prepared and served with a smile. You’ll certainly enjoy a day of shotgunning at Garland Mountain Sporting Clays.

Great place to shoot a round of clays! Very welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, well maintained golf carts and course, and above all else very creative clay presentations! Great place to go by yourself or take the whole family.

This place is awesome! Peter and his staff did a great job hosting a year end event for our Company. We had 20 people attend and shoot and I was impressed by the professionalism that was exhibited. They had everything ready to go prior to our arrival so there was no wasted time. We were busting clays right after our arrival. Everyone that attended was impressed with the facility. We had no issues with the guns, throwers or carts, everything worked flawlessly. One of the best things was the lawn and fire pit that overlooked the mountains. What a relaxing atmosphere after shooting a round of Sporting Clays. Thanks for a great event from the guys at TerraMark.

Had a great time! Our group of six were treated so well by Kennedy at the counter when we arrived and then by Richard who took us on the course and gave a short introduction to be sure we were comfortable with the rifle and ammo and clays... fantastic experience!

Excellent Fall Outing. What could be better than a Fabulous Fall Afternoon, Great Dining, then showing an eager 11 year old what it feels like to "Bust Some Clays" ! Don't confuse Boring Skeet (sorry traditionalists) with the Excitement of Bona Fide Sporting Clays. You blend traditional hunting skills of Bird Hunting, with the convenience of automatic throwers and Great wooded presentations of different combinations of throwing those pesky flying disks. Our new inductee into the Shooting Sports, literally had a Blast! And, so did everyone else, as well. We will be back, if for no other reason than to sit around the 🔥 Fire Put and soak up more Fall. We will be back.

Awesome Sporting Clays Facility. Took a private lesson a couple of weeks ago with Richard Wright which was extremely helpful as a new shooter. He provided excellent instruction and I ended up joining as a member. The venue is really incredible as others have mentioned. Beautiful mountain views, a surprisingly awesome restaurant that serves the best Sunday brunch in the Canton area, and a great clubhouse/lodge for dining and relaxing.Overall: 10/10

Great courses, great food, beautiful facility but was disappointed in the number of traps that malfunctioned or just didn’t work at all. We lost numerous shots on our card due to misfiring traps. I haven’t experienced this at other facilities. The wobble trap ran out of clays - we called the help number but after 15 minutes of waiting we gave up and and went to back to the pines course to shoot our remaining shots. Visited on 11/2/19.

I’ve been a member here for almost a year and never had a bad experience. The prices are competitive with other venues, but what Garland Mountain excels at is delivering a quality experience. The sporting clays courses are well laid out with excellent shooting stands (most of them covered). The trap machines are newer than at most places and have very few malfunctions if any. The carts aren’t your ordinary golf carts; these are purpose-built carts with beefy tires and stronger motors. The crown jewel though is the lodge and the staff. It’s nice to be able to have a delicious meal and an adult beverage after a round of shooting. Whether you’re sitting on the wrap-around porch or by the stone fire pit, the views from the top of the mountain are spectacular. Pete and the staff are great people. It doesn’t matter if you’re an experienced shooter or a first-timer, the staff will make you feel at home. I love this place.

My father and I shot 100 clays each. We hunt birds regularly, but hadn't shot clays at a range in well over a decade. We started at the beginners course and quickly realized we needed to step up to the intermediate course. The intermediate course was a ton of fun and just the right challenge for us. 100 clays was great, but our shoulders were very sore after that. We will definitely be coming back soon!

This place is beautiful! Very friendly staff. Renting the golf cart is a good Idea, though not necessary. If you like guns and shooting this place is awesome!

Very good food and service in the restaurant, and on the shooting side, Pete D'Ambrisi took great care of me, coaching me and showing me how everything worked.

Richard Wright exceeded my expectations as the instructor for 7 women! He educated us on the do’s and don’ts of shooting, all while keeping us smiling. Not to mention, we were thrilled to visit the VIP Station 15. The lunch at the Garland Mountain grill was delicious. And let’s face it, who couldn’t use a drink after a day of shooting? The spicy Bloody Mary was a perfect way to end our adventure!

Waitresses were excellent. Coffee was weak and lukewarm, plus water tasted like sulphur. Food was okay. Beautiful location, but unless you're shooting, nothing to write home about.

Garland Mountain Sporting Clays is an amazing place to go for a many reasons - especially if you want to have a round of fun with a group of friends or simply to go and blow off some steam. It's a great place to go no matter the occasion!

My family and I visited Garland for the first time last weekend. We kicked off the day with a fantastic meal at the grill and then transitioned to our first lesson with Richard at the development course. This was our first time shooting clays - Richard did an exceptional job teaching us proper safety and foundational skills. Within the first 40 min, we were all breaking clays. Richard quickly adapted his teaching style from my wife and I to our 16 year old son - he's an expert and it shows, great guy as well! Having Richard introduce us to the sport and proper technique was key to everyone having a great time. He was able to witness all the little things we were doing wrong and correct us on the spot - made our time behind the gun more fun and worthwhile. Ultimately, we had such a great experience with Richard, Peter and the Garland staff that we returned again this weekend for another round of shooting - will be back again soon!

Had a really fun time with the boys here. It can get expensive. Recommend rent one gun to share to keep the cost down. Have fun!

Beautiful place, great instructors, and good food! I'm new to clay shooting, and I felt very comfortable and at ease learning at Garland Mountain. The views are incredible there, and the food is so tasty! I would definitely recommend this place to beginners and experts alike.

My 13 year old son and I went here last weekend. Neither of us used a gun before other than bb. We took a lesson from Richard Wright and he was great! We both were hitting clays within a short amount of time. The facility is clean, beautiful views and all staff helpful. We’ll definitely be back. It was such a great experience and Richard made it fun, interesting and very informative. Thanks Garland Mountain for a great day! Keep up the good work.

One of the best sporting clays experience. Well kept property, shotgun rentals, well maintained equipment and great views. Service was nice with little pressure. The soon to be open bar and restaurant on top of the mountain will hopefully prove to be a excellent destination for dinner. If you love sporting clays in a above average setting then you will love it here

I have shot clays courses around the state of Georgia and Garland Mountain is by far my favorite! Peter and the rest of the GM staff are always friendly and willing to help. I was impressed with the quality of the club house, carts, and rentals, and the Sunday brunch is fantastic! I recently took a lesson with Richard Wright and I highly recommend him. He was able to offer constructive advise to the different level shooters in my family while still maintaining a fun and light environment.

Incredible all around. Amazing views and an amazing facility. We had a fantastic time and will definitely return. We had Richard join us for some private lessons and I really can't imagine anyone doing a better job. (Most of us had limited experience shooting and none with Clay's, I don't think any of us were disappointed with our performance under his teaching. We were all hitting better than half our shots which seemed pretty good to me for near beginners. Richard had a very laid back but effective teaching style and we just enjoyed having him with our group. The clubhouse has a full bar and restaurant, a beautiful interior, and plenty of porch and other areas for some downtime. I highly recommend a visit.

Randomly decided to give this place a try after hearing great things about it. Went with my husband and his sister. I can’t express how professional the employees were. Very helpful, kind, answered all my questions even after I asked 1000 questions. Explained everything, went over safety rules, walked us through it all. I can’t even express how welcoming we felt. So thankful to have found a place that’s full of great hard working people and with such a great environment. Highly recommended!

This place rocks! We booked a company team outing for 8 people. The day of our event the Garland team had our carts ready when we got there. Complete with Ammo, drinks and everything we needed for a great outing. After finishing the course, we had a great lunch for our team. Cannot emphasize how pleased and happy we were with the professionalism and courtesy of the Garland team. Would highly recommend to anyone

I’m from Connecticut and I could go to any number of Sporting clay preserves clubs in the northeast but I choose to get on a plane in Providence and fly two hours and 15 minutes to Atlanta And then Drive an hour and 15 minutes north to WALESKA Georgia Home of Garland mountain sporting clays .Garland mountain Sporting clay shooting has to be one of the most organized , well run , well Built Facility in the United States .The atmosphere , the course , the environment , the restaurant are all working in sync with one goal to make anyone who chooses to visit thoroughly enjoy themselves from the moment they walk in the front door until they shoot their final round .The owner Jack the facilities manager Peter , And assistant manager Harrison effortlessly and without hesitation attend to the guests in a relaxed , friendly and very efficient manner I could go on and on about all the things that make Garland mountain one of the sweetest spots to visit in the shooting-world But like I said every aspect of the business works in syncthe food is delicious the restaurant service is prompt the servers are southern friendly Hospitality at its finest smiles never wavering from their faces . I can’t say enough good things the facility is super organized They offer Practice Areas • 5 Stand • WOBBLE • And 2 FULL COURSES Target presentation are EXCEPTIONAL And Challenging. You have every amenity needed golf carts for everyone ( I have never seen that many golf carts available ) at any other facility. They have any type of ammunition you need any and all accessories you could possibly want the course is manicured the pathways clear the stands are solid , built sturdy clean neat and paintedit is a shotgun shooters paradise and I would like to thank Jack Peter and Harrison and the whole crew for once again making my day trip Worth it’s weight in GOLD .NIK M. Hands down the most fun I've ever had shooting (and I do tactical pistol/rifle matches all the time). I will gladly drive 50 minutes from Atlanta to come up here once a month. I'm even about to buy a silver pigeon I so I can have my own loadout to haul up there with me. Staff was great, food was great, beer selection is decent ( with that "local Atlanta" wicked weed) - couldn't have planned a better day in the mountains

This place was a lot of fun. It looks like it was built within the last few years so everything is really new and nice looking. Looks way better than the country club we went to the day before. The staff here was all incredibly friendly and you could tell they like their jobs. The waitress was nice and helpful. The instructor Richard was great and made the shooting a lot more fun and gave great instruction for first time shooting. Check out the pictures in this review

This place was awesome! We went there during vacation to eat lunch and shoot guns with our 3 boys and grandparents. Everyone was able to shoot the gun and hit a clay target! Our instructor was patient and very good at what he did - shout out to you, Richard Wright! The food was exceptional. I had a pulled pork sandwich and it melted in my mouth! I would recommend everyone go here for some fun and family memories!

I hosted an outing of a dozen business colleagues a couple weeks ago and Peter and the crew couldn’t have been more accommodating. They made everything easy on me and my guys and a great time. I shoot there regularly with my dad too and can say this is the premier spot to shoot north of metro ATL. Thanks guys, see you again soon 💥💥💥
