A few things to know before you go

Do I need a reservation?

No reservation is required for public shooting; it’s first come, first served. Contact us in advance to arrange a lesson or discuss a hosted group outing.

Do I need my own equipment?

No. Rental shotguns, ammunition, eye protection and ear protection are available. Check our pricing page for the costs of targets and equipment.

What should I wear?

Choose comfortable clothing and footwear suitable for an outdoor visit, and dress for the weather. Eye and ear protection are required while shooting. Review our visitor FAQs before you arrive.

Is sporting clays the same as skeet shooting?

Both involve shooting clay targets, but the course layouts and target presentations differ. Garland Mountain offers sporting clays, 5-stand and wobble trap. Our team can help you choose where to begin.

We’ll help you plan your first visit.
